ENGINEERING Institution of Zambia (EIZ) president Eng. Abel Ng’andu says it remains the decision of the government on whether it will go ahead with the demolition of the Alick Nkhata flyover bridge as advised by the institute. In December 2019, the Engineering Institution of Zambia recommended the demolition of the bridge on grounds that the space where it was being constructed was not sufficient to accommodate a well-designed structure. And in an interview, Thursday, Eng. Ng’andu said EIZ’s position still remained the same over the bridge.
