MINISTRY of Tourism Permanent Secretary Evans Muhanga says the recent surge in COVID-19 cases won’t affect the country’s projected 1.3 million tourism visitations for 2023. In an interview, Muhanga said the world had now learnt how to live with the virus. “We are coming from [a period] where we dropped [in the number of tourist visits] during COVID times, where we had like 500 visits somewhere there.
