Former national heavyweight boxing champion Joseph ‘No Pressure’ Chingangu has pleaded guilty to trafficking in 23.8 kilograms of Marijuana.
Chingangu was jointly charged with a 19-year-old Brian Kapisha who also readily accepted the charge.
Magistrate Betty Malupenga set March 7 for facts and sentencing.
In April last year, Chingangu was arrested and sentenced to six months imprisonment with hard labour for house breaking.
Chingangu was also beaten by University of Zambia (UNZA) students in one of the hostels at the Great East Road campus for allegedly stealing a laptop.
The former boxer was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle but the case was dismissed after witnesses failed to show up.
Since his retirement from boxing, Chingangu has been in a spate of criminal activities that have seen him spend nights in police cells.
