FORMER Lumezi independent MP Munir Zulu has closed his defence in the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court in a matter where he is charged with expressing hatred, ridicule or contempt for persons because of race. Lusaka Magistrate Amy Chilangwa Masoja has since set August 8, 2025, for setting the judgement date. Meanwhile, a 40-year-old businessman has told the court that Zulu’s remarks that villagers from Lumezi are more intelligent than those in Bweengwa, excited him.
