POLICE have transferred film producer David Kazadi to Lusaka for formal arrest. Kazadi appeared in chambers at the Livingstone High Court yesterday, escorted by plain-clothed Lusaka police officers, who were armed with AK47s. His lawyers from the Legal Aid Board indicated that Kazadi will be formally arrested in Lusaka. Last week, Livingstone Central Police Station was served with a notice to present Kazadi in person after Judge C Lombe granted a Writ of Habeas Corpus Ad Subjuciendum. Kazadi was arrested in Livingstone last week by plain-clothed police officers while filming a production.
