PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has appointed a Technical Committee tasked with conducting wide-ranging public consultations and drafting amendments to the Constitution of Zambia. The 25-member committee is chaired by retired Supreme Court Judge Christopher Mushabati, with Dr Landilani Banda serving as the Vice Chairperson and Spokesperson. Other members include Dr Felicity Kalunga, Bishop David Masupa, Grace Sinkamba, Isaac Mwanza, Gregory Chifire, Chief Chamuka, Chief Nyampande and Bishop Paul Mususu, among others. The committee includes legal experts, various faith leaders, traditional leaders and members from civil society.
