TONSE Alliance president Brian Mundubile says it is commendable that the UPND government has adopted some of PF’s initiatives, particularly the plan to implement a 24‑hour economy. According to Mundubile, the initiative was part of the 2021–2026 PF manifesto under late former president Edgar Lungu, further arguing that not everything done by political opponents should be condemned. Meanwhile, Mundubile says once elected, the Tonse Alliance will not persecute former leaders.
