A WOMAN of Ibex has narrated to the Chelstone Local Court how her landlady’s daughter called her a prostitute who depends on men for money because her boyfriend was paying rent for her salon. But the landlady’s daughter, in her defence, said she called her a ‘slay queen’ because of the lifestyle she portrayed and because she depends on men. This is a matter in which Chanda Mutale, a hairdresser, has sued Catherine Mulenga, of Ibex, seeking compensation for abusive language. In her statement, Mutale said the problem began when she was instructed to paint the shop she was renting with the assurance that her security deposit would be refunded upon completion.
