POLICE in Lusaka have detained a 24-year-old man in connection with the murder of a two-year-old child who died at the University Teaching Hospital following an assault in Chazanga compound. Zambia Police Spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi says preliminary investigations revealed that on June 6, 2026, Lemmy Mulilo allegedly dropped the child to the ground, hit her head against the floor, and bit her right cheek.
