ECONOMIST Trevor Hambayi says the country has not recorded economic growth in the year 2022. In an interview, Hambayi said the current GDP of about 3.8 percent was insufficient to be able to support economic growth in the country. “The issue that we must have [a] concern as a country are two things that are contributing towards the depreciation [of the kwacha]. First, is the lack of economic growth in the country. There is no growth in the economy.
