MINISTER of Finance and National Planning Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane says it is not Zambia’s fault that the deadline to make progress on the debt restructuring talks has been breached. And Dr Musokotwane says the country has passed with flying colours as far as implementation of the IMF programme is concerned. Last week, government and the IMF staff reached a Staff-Level Agreement on economic and financial policies that will anchor programme implementation for the next 12 months. This follows the first review mission for the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) Programme.
