TAZAMA Pipeline Managing Director Davison Thawethe says the discharging of the first diesel under the Open Access Framework into TAZAMA has commenced. And Ministry of Energy Permanent Secretary for Technical Services Peter Mumba has expressed optimism that the Open Access Framework will reduce the price of diesel. Speaking during the inspection of the offloading process, Thawethe said the vessel which was carrying diesel from the three companies Titanium, Boltt and Indeni was expected to discharge 94,629 metric tonnes of diesel.
