MILLERS Association of Zambia (MAZ) president Andrew Chintala has predicted an increase in maize supply this marketing season. In an interview, Monday, Chintala said despite the expected increase in maize supply, there was a need to allow market forces to determine the price of maize. “What people may need to appreciate as well is that when you talk of a bumper harvest, it does not necessarily translate into reduced pricing, so that is just one of the fundamentals and one of the dynamics.
