ENERGY expert Dr Johnstone Chikwanda has welcomed the initiative by LONGI Green Energy Technology to develop a 100MW solar plant by December 2025. Minister of Energy Makozo Chikote recently revealed that LONGI Green Energy Technology Co, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of solar panels, has expressed strong interest in investing in Zambia’s renewable energy sector to develop a 100-megawatt (MW) solar power plant by December 2025.
