THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has fined Keith Mukata’s ex-wife, Maricho Hoare, K5,000 for assaulting her guard. Lusaka magistrate Sanford Ngobola ruled that Hoare would serve six months imprisonment with hard labour in default. Maricho, 44, was facing one count of assault. In his judgement, Magistrate Ngobola said it was fact that Maricho assaulted her security guard as his testimony was backed by a medical report. He said all the state witnesses corroborated the guard’s story. “I believe the evidence of the first witness (victim) that the accused first slapped him twice, then hit his head against the wall.
