A LUSAKA resident who was arrested in 2017 for allegedly being behind the “Free HH” graffiti at Government Complex toilets, has sued the state demanding K240, 000 special damages for unlawful arrest and imprisonment. Mwanakatwe Sikasula, who has cited the Attorney General is seeking aggravated, punitive and general damages, as well as interest and costs. In his statement of claim filed in the High Court, Sikasula stated that he was arrested at Government Complex for disorderly conduct based on the allegation of graffiti, “Free HH”, which was written on the wall in one of the toilets.
