THE Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) has dragged Chaminuka Lodge in Chongwe to court demanding a refund of over K100,000 paid to the lodge for accommodation and hosting of a conference. The association also wants interest on the said sum from the date of payment, costs, and any other relief the court may deem fit and just. LAZ stated in its statement of claim filed in the Lusaka High Court that in July 2022, it made a reservation for hosting a workshop to be held on August 5, 2022, as well as accommodation for delegates attending the workshop.
