A STATE witness has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that Mfuwe PF member of parliament Maureen Mabonga’s utterances were treasonous. Kevin William Soper, 68, a Kitwe farmer, told the court that he was annoyed and upset when he heard Mabonga’s utterances. This is in a matter in which Mabonga is charged with two counts of seditious practices. In count one, Mabonga is alleged to have on a date unknown but between May 25 and May 28, 2024, in Lusaka, uttered seditious words: “Do you want us to be moving with guns? Start killing each other?
