A WITNESS has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that Munir Zulu was supplementing government’s efforts in the fight against corruption during an address where he is alleged to have defamed Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane, Charles Milupi and another. This is in a matter where Zulu is accused of making defamatory remarks against Finance Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane, Infrastructure Minister Charles Milupi and RDA Board Chairperson Mulchand Kuntawala. Allegations in count one are that on March 21, 2023, in Lusaka, Zulu with intent to defame, unlawfully published defamatory matters against Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane by way of a press conference in which he alleged that Dr Musokotwane corruptly received money amounting to $250,000.00 through a bank transfer from an unknown company.
