A 35-year-old Chinese man has appeared in the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court and denied being in possession of 147 tortoises without a licence or certificate of ownership from the Director of National Parks and Wildlife. In this matter, Geng Ting is charged with unlawful possession of a Government Trophy Contrary to Section 97 (1) and (2) and 136 (a) of the Wildlife Act Number 14 of 2015 of the Laws of Zambia.
