Zambia Under-20 team drew their penultimate friendly game at their training camp on the Canary Islands in Spain.
Beston Chambeshi’s side was held to a 2-2 draw by Spanish lower tier club CD Marino.
The Marino friendly was a last minute change after the warmup against Las Palmas was rescheduled to next week.
Goals from striker Fashion Sakala and Conlyde Luchanga secured Zambia the draw.
Sakala and Luchanga were also on target in Wednesday’s 3-0 friendly win over CD Tenerife.
“I think we didn’t start well in the first half. We gave them more space to play and we allowed them two quick goals,” Mwepu said.
“In the last game, we pressured our opponents but in this game, we lacked that. But we hope to fix that in training.”
Meanwhile, Zambia will play Las Palmas on Monday after the friendly it was postponed on Friday due to logistical reasons.
Zambia will wrap-up their two-week Spain camp on May 17 when they depart for South Korea ahead of the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup that kicks off there on May 20.
Chambeshi team will open their Group C campaign on May 21 against Portugal.
Iran and Costa Rica are Zambia’s other Group C opponents.
