THE Zambia women’s 15s rugby national team suffered a humbling defeat at the hands of hosts Uganda at the ongoing 2022 Rugby Africa Women’s Cup Pool B qualifiers at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku stadium. Coach John Chibamba described the loss as painful, adding that the score line does not reflect the actual game. Chibamba attributed the team’s loss to players not sticking to the game plan and making a lot of unnecessary turnovers. “We will definitely work on our slip-ups and hope to carry the day against Kenya in the next match on Saturday.
