THE Zambia boys golf team has ended the rain-interrupted first round of the ongoing Africa Junior Golf Championship in Uganda in fourth place and hopes for an improved performance today. Unrecognized Leonard Chibwe led the way for team Zambia with a five-over-par 77, a disappointing result considering his strong start on the front nine on Monday. Chibwe’s draw group, just like three others, failed to even tee-off for the back-nine because of the heavy rains and later, a sodden course, while other Zambians who had already teed-off were forced to rush to the clubhouse midway through the back-nine as rains poured.
