THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has, over the weekend, announced a budget of K291,816,788 for the calendar year 2023. FAZ Head of Finance Owen Buntele unveiled the budget during Football Houses’ Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Saturday, at the Government Complex in Lusaka. Buntele informed delegates that last year’s K9 million surplus would be added to this year’s budget. “We are happy to announce a budget of K291,816,788 million for the calendar year 2023. From this budget, we are projecting to make a surplus of K3,465,044 this year. The 2022 budget surplus stood at K9 million,” Buntele said.
