MUZALA Samukonga has continued his scintillating form on the track with another impressive performance on his first appearance at the Diamond League in Oslo, Norway last evening. The reigning African and Commonwealth 400 metre race champion came a close second behind world record holder Wayde van Niekerk of South Africa. The South African started on the front foot while Samukonga adopted his trademark style of beginning moderately and switching gears to top speed in the final quarter of the track. The result was an electrifying race with Samukonga chasing down his South African rival as the pair approached the finishing line.
