THE Zambian athletics team has returned home with a total of three medals from the 2024 African Athletics Championships held in Douala, Cameroon. The medals, all won in the 400m events, mark a significant achievement for Zambia at the continental stage. Quincy Malekani led the charge for the women’s team, securing Zambia’s first silver medal in the women’s 400m event.
