SCORES of fans yesterday flocked the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport to welcome 2024 Paris Olympics Bronze medallist Muzala Samukonga and other athletes who represented Zambia at the Games in France. Samukonga returned home to a jubilant reception which was followed by a grand parade organised by the Ministry of Sports, Youth and Arts. Samukonga became the first Zambian in 28 years to win an Olympic medal after he clocked 43.74 seconds in the final of the men’s 400m race last month.
