Zambia’s Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) community is preparing to display its talents on the global stage as two athletes head to the upcoming MMA World Championship in Uzbekistan, despite significant funding challenges. With crucial sponsorships from BigTree and 1xBet, flyweight Miracle Chipito and middleweight Gilbert Ndlovu, who previously won gold at the Africa Championship, will represent the nation. Accompanying the fighters are Henry Shoko, who will train as a shadow official, and Malachy McAllister, Zambia’s lead official and an International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF)-certified referee.
