THE Handball Association of Zambia (HAZ) has announced a K7.5 million budget for its international activities in 2025, as it aims for major achievements on the global stage. HAZ president Bwalya Banda revealed that the association’s primary goals for the year include qualifying its youth teams for the Youth Olympics, securing Africa Cup qualifications for the Under-17 and Under-20 women’s teams, and the senior men’s team. “Last year, we achieved 90 per cent of our objectives, and we aim to build on that success in 2025,” Banda said. “We’ll continue with the Quadro Super League, strengthen the B League, and maintain the Under-14 OYDC Teulings League”.
