THE Zambian film industry is yet again mourning after losing another of its member, renowned film director Jones Nasilele, who died in a road traffic accident on Tuesday. Nasilele was known for his directorial prowess in notable local productions like Ubuntu, Zuba, and the Zambezi Magic series, Ten Tamanga Street. Nasilele’s tragic death comes only a year after the film industry lost renowned Mpali Director Alister Sibbuku, who also died in a road traffic accident.
