A 54-year-old woman from Lusaka’s Twin Park has dragged her neighbour to court for accusing her of being a witch and claiming she killed her child. This is in a matter where Victoria Mutale, 54, sued Ireen Nyirenda, 29, of the same area for calling her a witch and a prostitute, among other insults. Mutale informed the Matero Local Court that after confronting Nyirenda about her insulting behaviour, Nyirenda threatened to hit her with a plank, hurled more insults at her, and even threatened to burn her.
