Veteran comedian Levison Ngoma, alias Bikiloni, says while fans remember the laughter he and Difikoti (Thomas Sipalo) brought to their screens, very few understand the economic challenges behind Zambia’s film and comedy productions, especially how local TV stations air most shows for free. He reveals that despite the countless hours spent producing quality content, production houses are often offered as little as K1,500 a month or nothing at all, when they approach broadcasters.
