SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti says parliament has written to the Ministry of Health on what measures Zambia needs to put in place in order to avert the Ebola outbreak which has broken out in some African countries. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), On 20 September 2022, health authorities in Uganda declared an outbreak of Ebola after a case was confirmed in a village in Madudu sub-county in Mubende district, central Uganda on 19 September.
