STATISTICS made available by the Ministry of Health and ZNPHI show that Zambia recorded over 6,100 Covid-19 positive cases and 20 deaths in January. But National Director of Infectious Diseases Professor Lloyd Mulenga has assured the nation that the Covid-19 pandemic will not get worse. A compilation of the daily statistics shared by the Ministry of Health and ZNPHI indicate that a total of 6,185 positive cases where recorded in January alone out of 84,219 tests conducted. According to the statistics, Zambia had 1,612 active cases as at January 31, 2023.
