FORMER Defence minister Davies Chama says those who are being arrested on corruption allegations relating to the Gulfstream are being persecuted, arguing that procurement is now becoming a criminal activity. And Chama says he is not worried about being arrested because he is sure he did nothing wrong. This week, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) announced the arrest of former Army Secretary at Ministry of Defence Evaristo Sakala for corrupt practices involving US$400 million in relation to the procurement of the Gulfstream G650 Presidential Jet bringing the total number of people arrested so far in this case to six.
