CHIEF Government Spokesperson Chushi Kasanda says government has freed the media to set their own agenda in their reporting because journalists too deserve freedom and editorial independence. Speaking during the official opening of the 2nd Africa Media Convention, Thursday, Kasanda said government, under President Hakainde Hichilema’s leadership, had been consistent in its agenda to promote media freedom and freedom of expression. “The importance of this conference cannot be over-emphasised.
