BUSINESSMAN Valden Findlay’s lawyer Charles Changano says his client will sue the Lusaka City Council (LCC) for illegally demolishing his property. Changano recently said his client felt he was being “hunted” after the Council demolished his property without considering the millions which went into its construction. Last week Wednesday, the Lusaka City Council demolished illegal structures built on a reserve area close to Community House in New Kasama, in order to pave way for constructing a road. In a follow up interview, Changano said the Council only gave seven days notice before demolishing the property, which was an anomaly. “We have to take the matter to court. The notice to us was seven days but the law says 28 days....
