AGRICULTURE Minister Mtolo Phiri has insisted that government is promoting crop diversification because it wants people to start changing their eating habits. Phiri was responding to Kantanshi PF member of parliament Anthony Mumba in the National Assembly, Wednesday, who wanted to find out when the investments being put in the agriculture sector would speak to the cost of living. “When are we going to see a strategy coming from your ministry that will speak to the cost of living or the cost of the end product from this sort of investment that the taxpayer is putting in?” asked Mumba.
