FINANCIAL Intelligence Centre (FIC) Acting Director General Liya Tembo says the centre has learnt that their job is not just to excite the public, so they are managing stakeholder feedback by “better packaging” their reports. Speaking on HOT FM’s Beyond the Headlines programme, Thursday, Tembo said in the past, their reports were perceived to be too sensational. “There are a lot of lessons learnt from all the eight trends reports. Firstly, it’s the reaction that the report gets. Depending on the audience, there is a feeling sometimes that perhaps the report is too detailed, others will just assume that this particular information has individuals named. We would want them to read and say where the names of the individuals are....
