PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema yesterday held a meeting with 63 UPND losing parliamentary candidates in the 2021 general elections. The meeting was held at State House late afternoon. The meeting was brought to order by President Hichilema’s Special Assistance for Political Affairs Levy Ngoma who disclosed how important the gathering was. Ngoma noted that despite President Hichilema having interactions with various stakeholders since ascending to power in 2021, he saw it fit to meet the party’s losing parliamentary candidates. Later, Ngoma explained how the meeting would proceed. The losing candidates then took turns introducing themselves before President Hichilema could deliver his remarks.
