THE Health Professionals Council of Zambia (HPCZ) has announced that 2,146 out of the 3,443 candidates who sat for their licensure examinations have passed, representing a 62.3 percent pass rate. And HPCZ says investigations for the people who leaked the exam paper leading to the cancellation of exams in September are still ongoing. Addressing the media, Thursday, HPCZ Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Professor Fastone Goma said the figures represented an overall pass rate of 62.3 percent which he said was good enough. “A total of 3,514 candidates enrolled for these examinations, however only 3,443 actually were examined. 71 were either absent or asked for deferment of the examination to the next sitting.
