THE Free Press Initiative (FPI) says it is deeply concerned with Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana’s remarks that government will “come” for any media house that will allow individuals to promote hatred and disunity. In a statement, Monday, FPI Founder and Executive Director Joan Chirwa observed that Kawana’s worrying statements seemed to imply potential threats to the freedom of the press.
