ELECTORAL Commission of Zambia Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro says the commission will continue preparing for the upcoming Mayembe ward by-election as they consider the resignation letter for the Leadership Movement candidate. And Kasaro has urged candidates to take by-elections seriously, saying they are costly, and one cannot just wake up and decide to resign. Meanwhile, Mpika Central PF member of parliament Francis Kapyanga says the continued withdrawal of candidates in the by-elections signify a growing lack of confidence in the commission.
