THE Human Rights Commission (HRC) has confirmed that it suspended its Director Sindiso Sichone in order to facilitate an independent disciplinary process against her. And the commission says its Chairperson, Dr Pamela Sambo, was acting on behalf of all Commissioners in all communications and decisions against the suspended Director. Last week, News Diggers reported that the Commission had suspended Sichone and charged her with misappropriation of funds amounting to K16,350, among other offences. Further, the Commission had given Sichone a mutual separation offer with full benefits from the time of her employment up to February 16, 2024, which she had reportedly declined to take.
