FINANCE and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane says the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has established a special unit to concentrate on big tax payers such as the mines. And Dr Musokotwane says the handover of Mopani Copper Mines to International Resources Holding RSC Limited (IRH) is an example of pushing production to 10 million tonnes to enable government to collect more taxes. Meanwhile, Dr Musokotwane says ZRA collected K86.6 billion, K89.9 billion and K100.1 billion revenue tax in 2021, 2022 and 2023, respectively.
