KONKOLA Copper Mines (KCM) says Chingola Open Pit (COP) number 5, where two illegal miners died recently, is not owned by the mining company despite being its operation area many years ago. Two illegal miners were recently reported to have died, while one survived after the earth collapsed and buried them while they were conducting mining activities at Cop 5 KCM dump site in Chingola.
