THE Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development says it has taken interest in the latest Lusaka City Council Internal Audit Report findings and has since written to the Local Government Service Commission for action against any officer involved. Among the major audit findings contained in the report is the irregular drawing of 23,470 litres of fuel amounting to K1,299,721, by motor vehicles which were not among the council fleet of vehicles.
