VETERAN broadcaster Maureen Nkandu has asked the Lusaka High Court to dissolve her six-year marriage to Cosmas Chileshe. Nkandu has told the High Court that their marriage had broken down irretrievably. According to a divorce petition filed by Messrs Kasiya Legal Practitioners, Nkandu, who’s now based in Ethiopia, stated that she got married to Chileshe, a fellow divorcee, on June 6, 2018. “On June 6, 2018, the petitioner, a divorcee, was lawfully married to Cosmas Chileshe, also a divorcee by way of ceremony celebrated before the Registrar of Marriages at the Lusaka Civic Centre.
