THE Monze-based ZNS Captain who attempted suicide by slitting his throat with a military knife between February 17 and 18 has died. Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Auxensio Daka revealed in a statement, Monday, that Leroy Mumba, 32, died on Sunday at Maina Soko Military Hospital, where he had been evacuated for treatment. On February 18, Mumba was found unconscious by his wife in what police recorded as a suspected case of self-harm.
