PAC president Andyford Banda has wondered why the Kwacha keeps depreciating when Finance and National Planning Minister Situmbeko Musokotwane promised that the local currency would make a counterattack. Commenting on Dr Musokotwane’s statement that people tend to over dramatise the Kwacha depreciation, Banda said the UPND-led government didn’t understand how to manage the economy. “I think that the Minister of Finance is a drama king because he is the same person who actually promised the people last year.
